Dinner with Christopher Paolini

4th - 12th Graders

Parmly Billings Library & Barjon's Books invite all young authors to participate in a fantasy-fiction writing contest. Four young authors,

whose exceptional short-stories are chosen will win the opportunity to have dinner with Christopher Paolini and ride with him on a Dragon-themed float in the 2011 "Fantasy Christmas" Holiday Parade on November 25th.

The guidelines for the short story submission are that it must be between 2000 - 4000 words and have a fantasy-fiction theme. Stories must be submitted online at the Parmly Billings Library website http://ci.billings.mt.us between now and October 29th. One winner will be selected from each of the four grade categories;

4 - 6 grade, 7 - 8 grade, 9 - 10 grade and 11 - 12 grade.
